The Gaslamp's Crazy Goose Bar & Lounge Takes Off Tonight

New, 1 comment

All-American eats for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Eater just got word that Crazy Goose Bar & Lounge will swing its doors open tonight in the Gaslamp, where the owners of the new bar and restaurant have been working on a remodel of the former Quality Social space. If you're a sports fan, there are 30 new flat screen TVs for your viewing pleasure; if music's your thing, you'll dig the live entertainment and DJs.

A renovated VIP lounge, which can function as a private conference room or meeting space, looks into the kitchen, where lead chef Jacob Greene will cook breakfast, lunch and dinner daily; Crazy Goose will be open Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. a.m. and Friday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. His comfort food menu includes brunch-y Captain Crunch French toast and short rib hash, plus burgers, salads and larger plates like a southern-inspired catfish po'boy and maple-truffle lamb chops; game meats — elk, bison, venison — will be featured in several dishes. On the beverage side, there will be craft cocktails, wine and a respectable 32 beer taps.
