EMBARCADERO— Sally’s Seafood on the Water just announced that new chef de cuisine Jay Payne has revamped the menu of the bayfront restaurant. Payne, a Culinary Institute of America alum with 20 years of cooking under his belt, including an executive chef role at Cafe Japengo, has brought his experience with Asian fusion to new dishes that include seared diver scallops with warm soba noodle salad with peanuts and mango, sautéed king oyster mushrooms, braised leeks, curried crispy rice noodles and carrot-misoyaki.
