The Brew Project in Hillcrest Includes Bottle Shop Component

Come late September, you'll be able to drink a beer at The Brew Project and take a bottle home; the bar and restaurant, currently remodeling a Victorian-style house in Hillcrest to include new dining areas, an upstairs private event space and a dog-friendly patio, will also have a bottle shop component selling beer and wine to-go.

Craft beer consultant Beau Schmitt and business partner Mike Sill plan on rotating their 24 drafts to provide an ever-changing survey of the San Diego brewery scene. Coffee, kombucha and wine will also be on tap and local distilleries are largely represented on their spirits and craft cocktail list. San Diego will also inspire The Brew Project's menu at brunch, lunch and dinner, with local ingredients showing up in entree-sized salads, sharable plates and dishes that include pulled pork tortas.
