Many Eater readers who were disappointed by the news of Table No. 10's shutter earlier this month after just a year in the East Village have been sending us photos of a sign posted on the 10th Avenue restaurant's window indicating that it will reopen Saturday, August 15 after a maintenance break.
While in theory this is great news, we've heard from multiple sources that executive chef/partner Jason Gethin has moved on to pursue other opportunities and that all staff have picked up their final checks; there have been no updates to the eatery's website or Facebook page and his former partner and building owner Cooper McLaughlin did not reply to multiple requests for comment. We'll update if more information becomes available and if you stop by tomorrow, let us know what you find.
