LITTLE ITALY— Bracero has been doing brisk lunch business on weekends since they launched the new option at the beginning of August; beginning Monday, the restaurant enters into daily lunch service starting at 11:30 a.m. Lunch seating, located at the bar and in the street level dining area, is first-come, first-serve and food choices are limited to the left half of the dinner menu; don't worry, there are still plenty of delicious options. LITTLE ITALY— Cookbook Tavola Calda, which opened last May on Kettner and offered homemade Italian dishes for dine-in or takeout has ceased operating as a regular eatery. Instead, chef Gregorio Serafini Pozzi is using the space to teach cooking classes on Italian street food to pastries, held on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the hands-on instruction includes beverage pairings. Chef Gregorio also holds open house hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 3 to 6 p.m., when he samples new recipes or dishes from Cookbook's catering menu and guests can BYOB. [EaterWire]
MAKERS SQUARE— Want to break into the local craft beer industry?
