LIBERTY STATION— We're hearing that Soda & Swine will open this Wednesday, July 22. The meatball eatery's second outpost will operate daily from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; new features for Liberty Station include an expanded menu, an in-house pie shop and cocktails that range from Negronis to drinks that combine ice cream and booze. Although there were numerous reports that the restaurant would shutter and move to a different location after four decades in La Jolla, owner Jorge Fierro writes that plans have changed.
