Hello Kitty Truck Returning to Adorably Dominate Comic-Con

Better start lining up now.

The cuteness is coming around again. The Hello Kitty Cafe truck, which swung through San Diego earlier this year, will be rolling through town a second time during Comic-Con on a tour to promote the sugar-sweet brand and its first brick-and-mortar cafe in the continental U.S., which will reportedly open in Orange County sometime this summer.

During the truck's previous stop at Fashion Valley, the cat's handlers say that more than 800 fans lined up to purchase Hello Kitty-themed snacks and merchandise; the crowd was so immense that they sold out of schwag in just a few hours. This time, the cutesy caravan promises to be fully stocked for its residence in the Lexus Premier Lot at Petco Park, across from the Convention Center (58 N 11th Avenue); they'll have Hello Kitty petit fours for sale, as well as strawberry lemonade and free pink Hello Kitty bags with every $25 purchase; hours are Wednesday, July 8 from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, July 9, Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, July 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
