Plus, a local bartender's sangrita takes him to New Orleans.

EAST VILLAGE— Chef/owner Jason Gethin has introduced new weekly Sunday Suppers at Table No. 10, available every Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. For $40, diners can design their own three-course meal by choosing a dish from each of the small plate, large plate and dessert sections of the restaurant's regular menu. The 10th Avenue eatery will also be offering drink specials each Sunday. [EaterWire]

EAST VILLAGE— Jsix's executive chef Christian Graves has added a fresh batch of dishes to his bar menu, served from 4 p.m. to close, and dinner menu. The new bar snacks include duck sliders with apricot-jalapeno jam and foie gras mousse with champagne gelee and truffles, while the seasonal dinner plates range from seared scallops with spicy coconut curry and vegetarian entree of shiitake mushroom ragu served with creamy polenta, broccolini and parmesan. NORTH PARK— Yesterday, Coin-Op Game Room hosted the San Diego regional finals of the Tequila Ocho-sponsored !Viva Sangrita! competition, which challenged local bartenders to create an original sangrita recipe to pair with one of Tequila Ocho's single-estate spirits. Coin-Op's own Leigh Lecap was crowned the winner with his pork adobo-inspired sangrita; Lecap will travel to New Orleans' Tales of the Cocktail event to compete for the final prize against winners from 12 regions across the country.
