Plus, the La Jolla Tap & Grill is on its way.

NORTH PARK— The National Homebrewers Conference will be held in San Diego from June 11 to 13, and North Park is planning several events for both attendees and the public, including a special Tuesday edition of Taste of North Park and a beer pairing dinner on Wednesday, June 10 at Waypoint Public featuring Ballast Point. There are two seatings for the $65 three-course dinner, hosted by Waypoint partner Brian Jensen (Bottlecraft) and Ballast Point Executive Director/Specialty Brewer Colby Chandler, with a menu that will track Ballast Point's journey from home brew store to brewing empire. LA JOLLA— A tipster told us that barleyanfigs, the Greek eatery that opened at 6830 La Jolla Boulevard early last year, has shuttered and will be replaced by La Jolla Tap & Grill. According to its Facebook page, the restaurant is currently being remodeled and will open in July with 30 beer taps. [Facebook]
