Wednesday's dinner service turned disastrous at The Fish Market's North Harbor Drive location, where a grease fire broke out in the attic area above the Top of the Market space, forcing patrons and staff to evacuate the restaurant last night around 6:20 p.m.
The fire department extinguished the flames by 6:45 p.m. and thankfully, no one was injured, but according to NBC 7, the fire caused $1.2 million in damages to the popular bayside restaurant. For the time being, The Fish Market is shuttered, with no word yet about when they'll be able to reopen.
