Chef William Bradley at Harvard & National Chocolate Chip Day

And the newest tenant at The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch.

LA JOLLA— On May 19 at 7 p.m., Harvard Cookin' Girl is hosting a One Chef, One Dish, One San Diego--a new charity event to benefit the Food Bank's backpack program. Chef William Bradley--aka a James Beard Award nominee for Addison at the Grand Del Mar--has agreed to come and cook, with Andrew Canter also sponsoring the event. Harvard plans to make it a monthly event to benefit different charities, featuring a superstar chef each month. [EaterWire]

POINT LOMA— In celebration of National Chocolate Chip Day on Friday, The Cravory will offer three new chocolate chip cookie creations. All chocolate chip cookies will be just $1 at their Point Loma bakery, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The limited special flavors include coconut chocolate chip, caramel chocolate chip and, for big time chocolate lovers, a triple chocolate chip option. CARMEL VALLEY— The newest tenant at The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch is lemongrass & ginger, which will open this winter. Chef Jose Ruigomez (Bang! Bang!) will create dishes influenced by a medley of Japanese, Korean, Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese cuisines. Expect locally farmed meats, seafood and produce. [EaterWire]
