OCEANSIDE— Masters Kitchen and Cocktail, whose burger made Eater's list of ones to try right now, just rolled out a new seasonal menu from executive chef Chris Gallo (Bertrand at Mr. A's, Lodge at Torrey Pines); his beloved applewood-smoked Duroc pork chop with chorizo cornbread, broccolini and poached grapes stays, but fresh plates include spring vegetable risotto with ramp puree, English peas, spring onion and poached egg and a catch of the day with lemongrass tea broth, rice noodles and green papaya salad. Meanwhile Masters' happy hour, available from 3 to 6 p.m. on weekdays, is a worthy one, with $6 mules, craft beer and plates that range from crispy Brussels sprouts with bacon, pecorino and reduced balsamic to duck confit tacos.
