DEL MAR— Arterra Restaurant and Outdoor Lounge at the Marriott Del Mar has a new executive chef, Evan Cruz, who has worked with Asian-fusion legend Roy Yamaguchi and cooked locally at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club and the L’Auberge Del Mar. Cruz recently rolled out a new menu of sharable plates, ranging from Padron peppers with black garlic, pork belly and chives to a mung bean cake topped with short rib bulgogi, kimchi and toasted rice. There's also a fresh craft cocktail program, centered around a bourbon menu that includes premium bourbon flights. [EaterWire]

VISTA— The San Diego Brewers Guild's biggest event, besides Beer Week, is happening this Saturday, April 25 from noon to 4 p.m. in Vista's Village District. More than 60 breweries are expected to turn out for the fourth annual Rhythm & Brews Music and Craft Beer Festival, where two stages will host live bands throughout the day.
VIP tickets include a special taco and beer pairing and an educational session with White Labs; proceeds go to support the guild and the non-profit Fight ALD. [EaterWire]

DEL MAR— Tomorrow, the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego will introduce Seaview Restaurant, which replaces Lael's on the property. Previously spanning multi levels, the recently renovated space now includes just one level and a large, bay-facing patio on the Embarcadero. Breakfast is the specialty here, and there's a new custom-designed omelet station and brunch cocktails. [EaterWire]
