NORTH PARK— During this Friday's BLVD NightsThe Homebrewer is joining forces with The Heart & Trotter to offer a food and beer pairing at the homebrew store featuring beers from their in-house Home Brewing Co. Meanwhile, on the butcher shop's shelves is the debut of Brooks & Landry spicy mustard, a new line from chef Lhasa Landry and her partner, chef Brandon Brooks of the upcoming Quad Alehouse. Other food vendors scheduled to attend the concurrent BLVD Market including Spanglish Eats, Casanova Fish Tacos and Wow Wow Waffle. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN— This Saturday, April 18 at the San Diego Public Library is the annual Girls Think Tank gala, which raises funds for the local nonprofit that provides services and support to the homeless community in San Diego. Cooking up dishes for the event's guests will be Catalina Offshore, Carnitas Snack Shack, The Red Door Restaurant & Wine Bar, Bull Taco, Suzie's Farm and more. ENSENADA— The next Let's Go Clandistino tour, scheduled for Sunday, April 26, is a can't-miss trip that includes food and beer pairings at two breweries, Cerveceria Wendlandt and Cerveceria Agua Mala. The Agua Mala visit will include a preview of the brewery's new oceanview tasting room, where Drew Deckman from the Valle de Guadalupe's Deckman's En El Mogor will be serving a four-course meal.
