Plus, a literary-inspired food event.

RAMONA— The town of Ramona has scored California’s first Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins combo drive-thru restaurant, which debuts at 1410 Main Street on Tuesday, April 7. The first person in both the walk-in and drive-thru lines when the store opens at 4:30 a.m. will get free coffee for one year and all customers on opening day will receive a free medium hot or iced coffee, plus free samples, with the first 100 also snagging a Dunkin' Donuts tote bag filled with schwag. And there are more doughnuts in our future, the franchisee reportedly plans to open more stand-alone Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in San Diego County. [EaterWire]
