ENCINITAS— 2GOOD2B®, which first opened in 2012, relaunched a revamped concept for their gluten-free cafe today. Previously focused on a grab and go menu of sandwiches, baked good and desserts, it is now a walk-up station style eatery, with an open kitchen cooking up an expanded menu of made-to-order salads, carved meat for sandwiches and hot items, including soups and braises, that will rotate daily. SCRIPPS RANCH & CARMEL VALLEY— Quick-service custom pizza specialists PizzaRev are grand opening their first San Diego locations this month and hosting a fundraiser called Pizzas For a Purpose, with proceeds going to benefit the local Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego. All day long on Thursday, March 5 in Scripps Ranch and Thursday, March 12 in Carmel Valley, the eatery is offering a "pay-what-you-want" deal for a build-your own personal-sized pizza, with a suggested $8 contribution. EAST VILLAGE— On Monday, March 9, Toast Cucina & Enoteca is adding to their weekday happy hour menu, which runs from 3 to 6 p.m. and includes drink specials that run from $5 wine to $3 draft beer. The new $5 happy hour dishes include a homemade Italian sausage and three different mini pizzas that can be ordered with a housemade gluten-free crust - gorgonzola, a Calabrese-style pie and pizza topped with sausage with cherry tomato.
