Kitchen 4140 and Draft Mission Beach unveil Valentine's Day offerings and Modern Times Beer celebrates SF Beer Week.

BAY HO— Kitchen 4140 will celebrate Valentine's Day for three days, starting February 13 with an optional Chef’s Whim Dinner by Chef Kurt Metzger, featuring three courses plus bubbly and truffles for $80. On Cupid's holiday, expect a four course prix fixe dinner with wine pairings for $100 per guest. Cure a vino hangover the day after on Sunday with red velvet waffles and bottomless mimosas for brunch. [EaterWire]

KEARNY MESA— Modern Times Beer plans to start distributing in the San Francisco area on May 1, so the Point Loma brewery will throw a party the day SF Beer Week kicks off. On February 6 at Common Theory in Kearny Mesa starting at 7 p.m., expect seven beers on tap and fancy food pairings.
