Coffee & Tea Collective Now Fueling Up the East Village

The North Park coffee pros take on a second location.

Coffee & Tea Collective, which will celebrate the third anniversary of its original El Cajon Boulevard location this year, has just pulled the stopper on their second location.

The local roaster is now sharing space with the newly-moved Juice Saves, which has been up and running at 631 9th Avenue since late January.

For now, Coffee & Tea Collective's hours will mirror the juice bar, but founders Daniel Holcomb and brand manager Michael Spear say they may extend those hours if the neighborhood demand is there.

Holcomb describes the new morning hub as being as fluid as a food court, with customers welcome to sit on either business' patios or share the central communal table that divides the two spaces.

C&T's East Village menu is identical to their North Park location; there are also taps dispensing their signature cold brew, plus iced teas, including a carbonated tea that will change seasonally.

Juice Saves is now offering pastries and bread from Ironside Fish & Oyster while Coffee & Tea Collective has an existing toast and jam program with local Prager Brothers Artisan Bread that may expand into savory toast offerings.
