More cooling frozen treats are headed to San Diego. CREAM, which stands for Cookies Rule Everything Around Me, is an ice cream sandwich shop that was first founded in Berkeley and now has eight locations throughout Northern California.
At least two franchises of the dessert store are coming to San Diego; one is landing in Pacific Beach at 1038 Garnet Avenue (where it'll battle with The Baked Bear for ice cream sandwich domination) and the other is headed to the College Area to 5157 College Avenue, just steps away from the first local eatery from waffle sandwich specialists Bruxie.
CREAM's menu centers around ice cream sandwiches built with fresh baked cookies (including gluten free and vegan options), but it also features ice cream-filled tacos, fruit bar, milkshakes, malts and floats.
