More Tacos for North Park Via New 30th Street Bistro

Readers alerted us to the freshly-minted Amorcito Corazón Mexican Bistro, which opened this week in the former Veg-N-Out space at 3442 30th Street.

Joining Tacos Perla and City Tacos as another new Mexican option in the neighborhood, Amorcito Corazón specializes in tacos and burritos filled with traditional meat, seafood and vegetarian fillings.

Owner Alejandro Delarocha, who hails from Mexico City, gave the interior a makeover and added an outdoor patio; a beer and wine license is pending, but should hopefully come through in a few months.

Delarocha says that his aim is to provide authentic Mexican food with the convenience of a taco shop; the menu highlights Central Mexican dishes and ingredients, from cocinita pibil to lengua Veracruz and vegetarian options that range from huitlacoche to nopales.

The eatery is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
