Bankers Hill's New Dishes & Valentine's Day at Panama 66

Plus, Catania's still looking for a few good cooks.

BANKERS HILL— Bankers Hill Bar + Restaurant just refreshed their menu with new dishes to reflect the season, including chile verde soup with braised pork belly, cilantro, garlic croutons and smoke paprika oil and a wintery salad of pear, arugula and pomegranate served with spiced goat cheese and a port reduction. New mains range from pan seared golden sand bass with sunchoke puree, broccolini with braised artichokes in a Provencal-inspired barigoule sauce to chipotle-glazed meatloaf with roasted root veggies and smashed potatoes. BALBOA PARK— Dine with your Valentine at Panama 66 on Saturday, February 14 at the San Diego Museum of Art; the kitchen will be open until 9 p.m. with the bar running until 10 p.m. Bonus: local singer-songwriter Miss Erika Davies will be performing there from 6 to 8 p.m. [EaterWire]
