A generous tipster sent us word that Heaven Sent Desserts, which opened at the corner of University Avenue and 30th Street in 2006, is planning to move into bigger digs.
Eater spoke with a manager who said that the dessert shop's business is booming, necessitating a larger space; they will plan to close the original store in late April and reopen in a new location by early May.
Although the new location has not officially been released, Heaven Sent confirmed that they will be staying in the neighborhood; insiders say they're rumored to be moving west on University into the Clair de Lune Coffee Lounge.
Perhaps Heaven Sent is gearing up for The Food Network effect; the shop will compete on the new baking show, "Duff Till Dawn", in an episode scheduled to air on February 19.
