DOWNTOWN— The Yard House has announced that it will permanently close its downtown location, which has been open since 2003 at the corner of 4th and Broadway; the restaurant was temporarily shuttered last month after a massive sewage leak in the building. AROUND TOWN— Eater readers have been asking us to catch up with Jason Gethin, chef/owner of the sadly shuttered Table No. 10 in East Village. Gethin, who was formerly executive chef at Union Kitchen + Tap in Encnitas, has been hired back as a consultant for the OMG group, which also runs Union Kitchen + Tap in the Gaslamp, Backyard Kitchen + Tap and Pacific Beach Alehouse.
