Puesto Launches TacoBar Saturdays & Stone Releases First Berlin Brews

AROUND TOWN— On December 12, Puesto is launching a TacoBar Saturdays at the modern Mexican eatery's locations in La Jolla and The Headquarters. Every Saturday in the bar area, from 9 p.m. to midnight, Puesto will give away a free taco to for every Puesto Perfect Margarita purchased. AROUND TOWN— Several readers passed along news of an investigation that found local sushi restaurants guilty of subbing in cheaper seafood in place of the real crustacean in their "lobster" rolls. Times of San Diego reports that the San Diego City Attorney's Office convicted eight area sushi spots, from Point Loma to Hillcrest and North Park, of the food fraud; each eatery had to pay a fine and change the way the items were listed on their menus.
