D Bar Closing Up Shop in San Diego By Month's End

There are just a few weeks left to enjoy some sweet and savory treats from D Bar San Diego. After three and a half years in Hillcrest and a recent remodel and reboot, the 5th Avenue restaurant has announced that it will shutter. We're hearing that it will close around December 20.

Owner/chef Keegan Gerhard and his wife, pastry chef Lisa Bailey, opened D Bar San Diego in 2012, expanding the concept which was first founded in Denver. Gerhard shared that he and Bailey have decided to focus their energies on their original D Bar Denver and future opportunities in Colorado.
