North Park's Breakfast Republic Marches Into Liberty Station

It's due by Spring 2016.

With hungry crowds gathering on the regular at Breakfast Republic, which opened in June in North ParkJohan Engman has announced that he will be opening a second location of the morning-centric eatery in Liberty Station, where he already operates an outpost of his popular Fig Tree Café.

Breakfast Republic is bringing its pancakes and egg-based creations to the 1,520-square-foot space that was previously Sushi Mura and will build out a new 600-square-foot patio. Engman plans on getting a full liquor license at this location, so expect an all-day cocktail menu; while the North Park restaurant is daytime-only, open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Liberty Station will extend its hours into the evening and serve light fare with cocktails and beer.
