UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS— The annual Golden State of Cocktails, a series of seminars, demos and spirit education classes for the bar industry, will run in to San Diego from December 6 to 8. The kick-off happy hour, presented on December 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. by the San Diego Distiller's Guild, will be held at Sycamore Den and feature a tasting of local craft distilleries. It's open to the public while the rest of the events, hosted by Park & Rec's Trevor Easter and Anthony Schmidt, are reserved for the trade and range from the history of sake to an oyster and gin pairing.
