BAKE! Holiday Pie Class at Bake Sale; Movember Mules At The Manchester Grand Hyatt

EAST VILLAGE The latest Holiday Pie Class installment at Bake Sale continues this Wednesday, November 18 between 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. when head baker Jenn Reinhart will guide students through the steps for creating holiday favorites such as pecan, sweet potato and a cream pie. Jenn will also be on hand to demonstrate the basics of single crust, graham cracker crust and the old-fashioned crumble topping. Reservations for BAKE! MARINA DISTRICT Movember Mules are back by popular demand at The Manchester Grand Hyatt. Inspired by different areas of the property, the 'stache worthy sips are available throughout the month and include: the Redfields Mule with Jim Beam Bourbon, lime juice, fresh strawberries and Goslings Ginger Beer; the Grand Lobby Bar Mule with Skyy Vodka, fresh muddled strawberries, lime juice and a topping of ginger beer; and Top of the Hyatt Mule, hand crafted with Highland Park 12-year Scotch, bitters, lemon juice and ginger beer. $1 from each cocktail will be donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. NORTH PARK Mark your calendars for next months SoNo Fest & Chili Cook-Off when 40 local restaurants (newcomers include Kindred, Hope 46, Panchita's Bakery and Quad Alehouse) will battle it out for ‘chili bragging rights’ in North Park.
