Those eager to taste the chicken and egg creations from The Crack Shack will have to wait one more day. Its official soft open was yesterday, with crowds reportedly gathering starting at 8 a.m. and continuing into the evening, when the kitchen virtually ran out of food.

Due to the unexpected deluge, the restaurant sent over word that it will close today to restock the kitchen and properly prep for the weekend; operations will resume Friday at 7 a.m. While you wait, take a moment to look over the menu again so you'll be prepared when you reach the front of the line.
