Dia de los Muertos Dinner at Bracero; $5 Cocktails at Park & Rec

Plus, Social Tap swings open in the East Village.

LITTLE ITALY— In honor of Dia de los Muertos, Bracero will be pouring cups of warm atole and handing out sugar skulls at a special dinner scheduled on Monday, November 2 with a menu by executive chef Javier Plascencia and chef de cuisine Claudette Wilkins. EAST VILLAGE— Eater readers are reporting that Social Tap has swung open in the former Southpaw Social Club space adjacent to Petco Park. The eatery, which has an original location in Ventura, specializes in tacos, burgers and sandwiches and features a weekend brunch with build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. Today is Taco Tuesday, so deals include $2.50 tacos and $5 margaritas and tequila shots. [EaterWire]
