Puesto Wants to Buy You Dinner & Border X Brewing Opens

DOWNTOWNPuesto is celebrating the third anniversary of their company with a dinner being hosted at their location in the Headquarters at 8:30 p.m. on February 10. Featuring wine from Valle de Guadalupe vineyards and cocktail pairings, plus six courses that include all-new taco varieties ranging from a veggie curtido taco to a duck carnitas and chocolate sauce taco that may make it onto the permanent menu. The dinner is private, but Puesto patrons can win two tickets to the dinner by signing up for Puesto's newsletter by Saturday, February 1, when the restaurant will be selecting a winner. [EaterWire]

BARRIO LOGANBorder X Brewing is celebrating the grand opening of its Barrio Logan tasting room this Saturday, February 1 with a party starting at 6 p.m. where they'll be releasing four new beers, hosting a food truck and offering some free bites. [EaterWire]

ENCINITASSkip the tailgating this Sunday and instead head up to the San Diego Fermentation Festival being held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Ranch (450 Quail Gardens Drive).
