After opening their first brewpub in Little Italy and a massive production brewery and restaurant in Miramar, the ever-growing Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits turned their attention to the place that started it all, Home Brew Mart, which was first established in 1992.

The brand new expansion of the original home brewing supply store, which eventually became Ballast Point's first brewery, debuted today in Linda Vista.

Home Brew Mart now encompasses almost 9,000-square-feet, with over 2,000-square-feet of adjacent space transformed into a new tasting room with a 40-tap bar.

There's an under the sea-themed mural and finally, plenty of seating on picnic tables that are decorated with pieces of the company's history, plus multiple TVs, including a huge 90" screen. The retail portion of the shop has also been enlarged and revamped.
