DEL MAR— This week, Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, rolled out new seasonal breakfast dishes at both their San Diego locations. The morning additions on the menu include pancakes with caramelized apples and a caramel apple glaze, topped with whipped mascarpone and spiced pie crumble and a winter version of eggs Benedict that starts with sweet potato polenta cakes, stacks on a local veggie hash of griddled sweet potatos, fennel and kale and blankets it all in cream cheese hollandaise. ON T.V.— Chef Paul Murphy of Humphreys Restaurant on Shelter Island, along with his family, are contestants on an episode of The Food Network's "Guy’s Grocery Games" set to air this Sunday, January 25 at 8 p.m. The Murphys will face off against three other families in a brunch competition. And on Tuesday, January 27 at 9 p.m., The Pearl Hotel's Greg Strangman will compete against three other hotel owners in an episode of the Travel Channel's "Hotel Showdown" to win a $25,000 prize.
