A tipster sent us word that Lemonade, the Los Angeles-based concept that serves seasonal, cafeteria-style comfort food, has posted signs in Hillcrest indicating that they will be opening a branch at 3958 Fifth Avenue. Amici's East Coast Pizzeria, which shuttered last fall, was the 2,800-square-foot space's most recent tenant.
The quick-service eatery has more than ten SoCal locations plus an outpost in Dubai; last summer, the rapidly-growing company announced its expansion into San Diego.
