Locals who have been listening to The Splendid Table since the radio program first debuted on San Diego airwaves on Saturday afternoons in 2011 will have to settle for downloaded podcast recordings going forward.
A tipster told us that the show, hosted by cooking teacher and food writer Lynne Rossetto Kasper, would be removed from the KPBS Radio programming and a release posted yesterday confirms that it has been dropped from the 2015 lineup.
Among the newly-added programs is America’s Test Kitchen, hosted by Chris Kimball, that features call-in questions, cooking tips and food conversations; it's scheduled to air Saturdays at 4 p.m.
