An interesting tidbit gleaned from the Tin Fork's visit to Bottega Americano is that the new restaurant's designer, Thomas Schoos, whose past San Diego-based projects include everything from Searsucker to Puesto, is headed to Germany, where he'll be working on the newly-annouced Berlin-based Stone Brewing Co. brewery and restaurant. Meanwhile, the powers that be are reportedly still deliberating on where to place their new East Coast facility. [SDReader]
