Food Concept Wanted for New University Heights Project

Looking for restaurant space? A prime spot is up for grabs.

Calling all chefs and restaurateurs...have a winning idea and no place to put it? How about a 2,000-square-foot space in the heart of University Heights?

Nick Zanoni, the principal owner of Normal Heights' Sycamore Den is seeking a new food concept for a property that he owns at the corner of Park Boulevard and Meade Avenue (4404-4406 Park Blvd.). The 2,000-square-foot ground floor of the building would house the eatery; Zanoni's also looking for partners to help create a co-working space above the restaurant.

His proposal for the remodel of the building has already been approved and the site is zoned for an ABC license, kitchen and patio; construction will begin once the new food tenant has been identified. Interested parties should contact

Meanwhile, Zanoni and his team are still looking for the right space for their own concept, which was originally intended to replace La Gran Tapa on B Street but has since fallen through.
