Tavern Anniversary; Tiki Mug Party; Suzie's Farm Feast

SOUTH PARKStation Tavern is celebrating its fifth anniversary this week with a series of events that include a tonight's special beer release of a golden raspberry stout brewed in conduction with Monkey Paw Brewing. Thursday, September 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. is their official anniversary party and fundraiser for the San Diego Architectural Foundation, which will feature root beer and stout ice cream floats. And Friday is outdoor cinema night, with vintage cartoons and free paletas from Viva Pops. [EaterWire]

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTSSmall Bar is turning five and hosting two anniversary parties this weekend. On Saturday, September 20 starting at 10 a.m., there's a special Beer 4 Breakfast featuring Faction Brewing, plus rare barrel-aged beers and their own 5th Anniversary Ale. Sunday brings Ballast Point Tiki Party that kicks of at 3 p.m. Devil's Share tiki mugs will be available, filled with filled one of two cocktails - a Mai Tai or Three Sheets And A Dash - and Ballast Point's artist, Paul Elder, will be on hand to autograph his handiwork. IMPERIAL BEACH— There are still a few precious tickets available for this Saturday's Autumnal Equinox Dinner at Suzie's Farm. This year, Ryan Johnston (Whisknladle) is in charge of the menu, whose centerpiece will be a whole TAJ Farms cow cooked in a pit. Ballast Point's Colby Chandler is bringing special beers to the event, including a version of their Longfin Lager infused with Armenian cucumbers, Honey White melon-Oktoberfest and a saison infused with sancho buttons, Genovese basil flowers and fresh hops.
