EAT at The Pearl has announced who will replace executive chef Jaison Burke who departed the restaurantearlier this month to take a post at a resort property in Ojai.
Newly in charge of the Point Loma restaurant is Elliott Townsend, a National City-native who has been promoted from his role as the kitchen's chef de cuisine. Townsend studied food in Florence, Italy, and worked locally at George's California Modern and Quality Social.
The LWP Group's latest eatery, Tacos Perla, just started delivering tacos to the neighboring Bluefoot Bar & Lounge in addition to the ongoing service to the Modern Times Beer tasting room; taco deliveries can be ordered online until 9:30 p.m. every day.
