Well-Established North Park Burger Joint to Move Digs

A tip of our hat to the reader who shared that Crazee Burger, the popular North Park burger spot which first opened in 2006, will be moving from its original location.

The architects behind Foundation for Form, which has developed several projects in the vicinity including the new You Got Mail (former North Park post office) and Golden Hill's You Are Here (future home of Dark Horse Coffee Roasters) and MXD 830 which houses Counterpoint, are taking over the property for a new mixed-use building.

The restaurant, which has a menu over 20 burger options and caught the attention of the Food Network Show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" with its exotic meat burgers, from antelope to kangaroo, came under new ownership in 2011, when they also added another eatery in Old Town.

Crazee Burger told Eater that they're committed to staying in North Park and are currently looking at sites in the neighborhood; they hope to secure new digs within two months.
