Concept & Chef Reveal for Legendary Nightclub Space

Are you up for dining, drinking and dancing all under one roof? Headed to the corner of 6th and Broadway is Parq, a splashy new nightclub and restaurant that'll take up residence in the space that once housed On Broadway, arguably one of the most popular nightclubs in local history.

Opening this fall after a two-year dormancy and a multi-million dollar renovation, Parq's massive 40,000-square-foot space will be split into a restaurant and nightclub component that can function in conjunction with each other or as separate venues, depending on what experience you're looking for.

errol.JPGThe open and airy restaurant occupies over half the space and plans to serve farm-to-table, "progressive American" food in a setting that's upscale without the white tablecloths. At the helm is chef Errol Le Blanc, who has cooked at big-time Vegas properties and locally at Cafe Sevilla, and says that he wants to "create a dining experience that can be enjoyed by people on more than a special occasion basis, while still offering world class cuisine, flavors and an experience to be remembered". He's into off-the-wall concepts, techniques and new ingredients, and plans to collaborate with the restaurant's mixologist to create the cocktail menu.

Davis Ink, who just finished the Gaslamp's AD Nightclub, also designed Parq's stadium-like venue that promises a "Vegas-style VIP experience" with "insane, over-the-top features".
