Farm House Cafe Owner Joins The Lodge at Torrey Pines

New, 2 comments

Fans of the Farm House Cafe have been asking us for updates ever since chef/owner Olivier Bioteau announced that he would shutter his longtime Adams Avenue restaurant.

Although his followers were hopeful that Bioteau would immediately find a new site and reopen, the chef recently returned to San Diego after a few months of travel and just announced that he has joined the culinary team of superstars at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, which includes executive chef Jeff Jackson and A.R. Valentien's chef de cuisine Kelli Crosson.

Bioteau will be the resort's chef tournant, meaning he'll provide relief to multiple stations of the A.R. Valentien kitchen, plus support The Grill and their banquet services; the chef told Eater that he has committed to five years with the property.

If you've been missing his French cuisine, the chef will do a two-night guest stint at The Patio on Goldfinch (July 14 & 15) cooking a five-course prix-fixe Bastille Day dinner with rose wine pairings that includes oysters, chicken liver mousse and braised beef cheeks. The dinner is $95; tickets are here.
