Behold the Meat Stack, an Off-Menu Eater Special at Carnitas' Snack Shack

New, 1 comment

When The Smokehouse Kings, the barbecue baby spawned from the loins of Carnitas' Snack Shack, heard about The Five Days of Meat on Eater, they wanted to get in on the action and we were only too happy to oblige.

The Smokehouse Kings' Meat Stack, a triple meat monster of smoked brisket, smoked ham and smoked turkey, is available at Carnitas' Snack Shack starting today and running through Friday.

Chefs Ivan Muñoz and Max Bonacci have crafted a sandwich, more like an ode to meat (all smoked in-house), that doesn't any leave room for vegetables. There's nary a leaf of lettuce or scrap of tomato, just the meat piled high on a locally-baked pretzel bun with cheese and a generous smear of housemade mustard aioli.

Ask for it by name, it's a not-so-secret off-menu special order just for Eater readers. The two-handed sandwich is available in limited quantities for $10 each. Happy (m)eating.
