The new Asian restaurant replacing Juan Chou has soft opened in South Park.
Fire Horse is a bar and bistro from the owners of Nine Dragons, an old school Chinese eatery in Bonita. Some cosmetic changes have been made, and more are in the works, including the addition of an outdoor patio.
Open for lunch and dinner, the Pan-Asian restaurant retained Juan Chou's sushi chef, so there are still rolls and nigiri, plus Japanese dishes ranging from yakisoba to tempura udon. Korean cuisine is represented by bibimbap, rice topped with vegetables, beef bulgogi and an egg.
Fire Horse will have a large selection of Chinese food, but owner Diana MarJip-Chuh tells Eater that they won't be adding it to the menu until next week. Also on the way is home delivery.
