The much-admired chef Javier Plascencia, who has restaurants in Mexico and San Diego, including a new one headed for Little Italy, is gathering together a superstar team of SoCal and Mexican chefs for a one-night-only, six course wine paired dinner at Finca Altozano, his beautiful outdoor eatery in the Valle de Guadalupe. Scheduled for Saturday, August 16, the dinner has optional transportation to the event from Plascencia's Romesco in Bonita. Among the chefs featured are Juniper & Ivy's chef de cuisine Jon Sloan, Los Angeles' chef Ori Menashe from Bestia and Jair Tellez from the valle's Laja.
