It's opening day at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club and there's a new infusion of craft beer, thanks to Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits. The brewery is debuting an eatery at the racetrack called The Jockey Box, located on the second level of the Stretch Run. The space has four Ballast Point beers on tap, an assortment of cans and bottles, and a food menu that was done in collaboration with exec chef Colin MacLaggan, who runs the kitchen at Little Italy's Ballast Point Tasting Room and Kitchen.
