wfm%20logo.pngLocal Whole Foods Markets, including San Diego stores in La Jolla, Hillcrest, Del Mar and Encinitas, have been overcharging customers and must pay $800,000 in penalties, the result of a consumer protection lawsuit which found that markets in Southern California have been "charging more at the time of checkout" and failing to "deduct the weight of containers when ringing up customers for self-serve items".
