Mission Hills' food options are steadily increasing with the recent openings of The Patio on Goldfinch and Harley Gray Kitchen & Bar.
Now, a photo sent from a tipster shows that the neighborhood is getting a caffeine infusion. Ceremony Coffee Bar is brewing up a serious coffee concept that due to drop in mid-to-late August.
One of the partners, Rob Moran, told Eater that Ceremony will be a completely handcrafted coffee experience, focusing on two local coffee roasters - James Coffee Co. and Dark Horse Coffee Roasters. Eventually, they hope the two roasters might collaborate on a custom blend just for the shop.
They'll offer a full menu of espresso drinks, plus drip coffee and a pour over coffee bar. Local Black Magic Bakery will provide pastries, from traditional to vegan and gluten-free.
Ceremony Coffee Bar's 600-square-foot space will have seating for 20 inside and room for 10 to 12 more on a new sidewalk patio.
