Here's the Latest on North Park's New Mexican Eatery

Behold the power of the Eater street team. Just days after we asked for intel on the Mexican restaurant in North Park, we have a solid update for you thanks to some great folks in the Eater network.

One reader sent in a photo of power lines being added to the property while a few other sources speculated that permitting issues related to their proposed drive-thru were holding things up.

Another reader confirmed that the eatery will be called Panchita's Mexican Kitchen and that it'll focus on authentic Mexican food, with baked goods. And one tipster was able to talk to the owner, who lives in North Park, relayed that though they ran into some delays with this project, they're expecting to be open in two months.
