Mac and Cheese Spot May Finally Open on 30th Street

New, 4 comments

Readers have been asking us for an update on the mac and cheese eatery that we reported would replace Sea Rocket Bistro when it closed last December.

Though details have been slow to emerge, Bazinga Eatery temporarily opened this week for World Cup viewing, offering $6 beer and wine and a few appetizers, including fried mac and cheese balls, from noon to 6 p.m.

New owner Leila Oualha told Eater that her "Urban Mac N' Cheese Spot" may officially open later this week. Her menu has been finalized, and includes around eight varieties of mac and cheese, plus salads, mac and cheese-inspired appetizers and dessert.
